LEGISLATIVE PROPOSAL
PROPOSED LEGISLATIVE LANGUAGE: New subsection ( c ) to
Title 10 U.S.C., Chapter 1005, Section 10147:
"When a Selected Reserve member is assigned to an
occupational specialty for which he or she is not qualified, an
additional obligation of up to 90 days of active duty for training
may be directed by the affected Service Component, with the
consent of the Governors in the case of the National Guard, for
the purpose of training."
